Snakeman's Testimony

Me and my wife both came from a Catholic background. Guess I really got turned away from God when my father left my pregnant mother and she couln't afford to tithe and the church kicked us out. I was 5 at the time.

Pappitalo's Testimony

I was born into a family that had God as a big part of it, but not the God I’ve come to know and love. The example I saw from my father was a God who was judgmental, legalistic, and condemning. Sure He loved me, but when I made a mistake, I believed He was going to be disappointed in me. I went to church because I had to, and never enjoyed any of it. I was mostly a good kid growing up aside from cussing and occasional drinking at parties.

SaulBecomesPaul's Testimony

I grew up in the Catholic church. None of the traditions or requirements ever made sense to me. I never could comprehend confessing my sins to another person or the importance placed on Mary, etc. These things, among many, drove me away from wanting anything to do with God.

EclipsdByTheSon's Testimony

My early life was very difficult. I grew up in an extremely dysfunctional household along with two younger brothers. We were left to ourselves to make our own life decisions. My family did not bring us up in any kind of religion. Our home was tremendously un-peaceful. Fighting between my mom and step-dad and conflicts between us boys and our parents occurred regularly. I started hanging out with my friends a great deal and began using drugs while living at home. Eventually, I moved out of the house my last year of high school and started living with my friend. Life during that time was filled with a mass amount of partying and drug abuse.

DownwindSalmon's Testimony

In Oct. of '99 I drove across the country with everything I owned in the back of a Ranger pickup truck. I was headed for a new job working on an ambulance in Louisiana. I wasn't sure what to expect other than I had hoped to start everything new. In high school I started hanging out with what you can call “the bad crowd", though I didn't think that at the time. I had grown up in a Christian home. My dad was not the pastor but close enough. I was tired of being a "goody too shoes" and started experimenting with drugs. Mostly pot was my drug of choice. Not even sure how I pasted the drug test to get the job with the ambulance.

The Naitcha Boy's Testimony

I wanted to share a praise and blessing that The Lord has done in mine and my wife's life.

Ever since my son was born (3 years ago), I have been struggling in my relationship with God.  I developed a bad attitude and pretty much slowly faded away from him.  I started listening and being influenced by the world. Things between my wife and I started taking a turn for the worse last year. This eventually lead to a separation for 2 months.

NCWildflower's Testimony

There are not many people who know about my past as a whole as I have kept most of it to myself. I will share my whole testimony in hopes you will be able to see that even when I did not know God, He knew me. Or the times in my Christian walk I was not strong, I cannot doubt that he was there.

First off let me say that I cannot remember a lot of my childhood. I have glimpse of things but whether it is through a self preservation my mind has done or that God has done I do not remember.
